Detailed Itinerary : Rajasthan Heritage Tour Packages

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Namaste!!! Welcome to India. Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, Meet with our representative and drive in a chauffeur driven Car to your pre-booked hotel. Remaining Day at leisure to get refreshed after a long flight journey to India.

Day 2: Delhi City Tour

Meet your Guide at hotel and enjoy a full day tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Hop in a Rickshaw to explore Chandni Chowk market, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. You can enjoy some local delicacies at few oldest shops in this market. Continue drive to New Delhi and see India Gate, Drive Part Parliament House and President House, Visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Return back to Hotel in the evening.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra City Tour

After breakfast at Hotel checkout and start your drive to the city of Taj – Agra. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later enjoy city tour of Agra – Visit Itmad-ud-daulah also known as “Baby Taj”, Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and at Sunset visit one of the seven wonders of the wolrd – Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Agra – Drive to Jaipur, enroute Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast at hotel, checkout and drive to Jaipur. Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri and see Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace and Diwan-i-Aam & Diwan-i-Khas. Continue drive to Jaipur – the capital city of Rajasthan also known as Pink city founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is famous for its Marvellous Forts and Palaces, which still resembles the charm of royal families. Arrive and checkin at hotel. Evening free to relax at your hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

Post breakfast at hotel, proceed for Jaipur City Tour – Visit Amber fort, where you can take a joy ride on an Elephant to the fort, Amber Fort is a perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Visit Seesh Mahal (Chamber of Mirrors), Hall of Private and Public Audience and Sukh Mandir. Also visit Jaigarh Fort located on a hilltop overlooking Amber Fort. See Jaiban the world’s biggest canon on wheels. City Palace Complex – occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar) – An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jal Mahal. Evening free at relax or for independent activities. Stay overnight at Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur – Deogarh

Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Deogarh – A small town located on a small hill of Aravali range. Arrive and check-in at one of the heritage hotel. Later in the afternoon visit The Gokal Garh Fort, The Shiva cave temple at Anjana Mahadeoji. you can take a jeep ride through the countryside seeing the villages where you can see artisans at work.

Hightlight : Rural Rail – A 2 hrs and 17 Kms train ride by Meter guage train in to the Aravali Hills on 1930’s British Track which consists of 2 tunnels and 17 U shape bridges. Distance covered is only 17 KM.

Day 7: Deogarh – Chittorgarh – Udaipur

Morning after breakfast checkout and drive Udaipur. We will take you to Chittorgarh enroute. This is largest Fort in Asia and India and has been the witness of some major battles between Muslim Invaders and hindu rulers. You can see the Vijay Stambha, Kirti Stambha, Rana Kumbha Palace, Gaumukh Reservoir, Padmini Palace and Mirabai Temple. Afternoon we will continue drive to Udaipur the city of lakes and gardens. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Evening free to relax at hotel.

Day 8: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour

Today morning, after breakfast embark on a full day tour of Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari, garden complex and the royal city palace complex. At this palace complex, you will marvel at the rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows, inlaid marble balconies and peacock courtyard and the local folk Museum is an added attraction. Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the placid waters of Lake Picchola, from the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it raises majestically above the lake. Evening return back to the hotel.

Day 9: Udaipur – Jodhpur

After breakfast checkout and drive to Jodhpur – the Sun City, this is Rajasthan’s second largest city famous for its Fort and Palaces. Arrive Jodhpur and Check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most impressive and formidable structures that looks down from the height of 125 m. Explore Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Daulat Khana in the fort. Also see Jaswant Thada next to the Fort. Later visit the 20th Centaury Umaid Bhawan Palace built is 1944 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and is known to be the last palace built in India. Visit Palace Museum located inside Umaid Bhawan which displays artifacts and antiques. Evening visit Girdikot and Sardar Market where you can enjoy shopping and try local cuisines.

Day 10: Jodhpur – Drive to Bikaner

Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Bikaner – Formerly capital city of Bikaner State founded by Rao Bika in 1486. Enroute stop at Deshnok where you can visit the famous temple dedicated to Karni Mata. This temple is also famous for around 25000 black and white rates living here and are worshipped. This temple is also know as “Temple of Rats” worldwide. Upon arrival,check-in at hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tout of Bikaner – Visit the Famous Junagarh Fort and Museum, Rampuriya Haveli and Lalgarh Palace, Bhandasar Jain Temple and National Research Center on Camel. Return back to hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 11: Bikaner – Mandawa

Breakfast at Delhi hotel and checkout. We will today drive to Mandawa in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, a small town famous for its havelis and mansions which are beautifully painted. Arrive Mandawa and check-in at hotel. Afternoon enjoy sightseeing tour visiting Mandawa Fort, Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli & Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli. Retun back to hotel in the evening.

Day 12: Mandawa – Delhi – Departure

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi drop at Airport for onward journey with everlasting memories of Rajasthan heritage tour.
