“Venice of East” often called, holds the stage as Udaipur is the most romantic city of India.  Udaipur has a sense of peace in itself. It was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh. The centre stage of the city is City Palace floating over Lake Pichola, considered as “Lake Palace”. Udaipur is all about Palaces, Havelis, Temples.

Lake Palace – It is also called as Jag Niwas and is considered as one of the beautiful palace of the world. It is called the best Rajasthani architecture. It stands on the lake Pichola and gives a picturesque view to any traveler.

City Palace – Comprising of numerous Towers, Domes and arches. City Palace is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. It is a blend of European and Chinese architecture. This structure is built in granite and marble.

Lake Pichola – It is an artificial fresh water lake built in 1362 AD. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over the last few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur city. The lakes around Udaipur were primarily created by building dams to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of the city and its neighborhood

Fateh Prakash Palace - The palace was constructed during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singh and and it was exclusively for Maharana’s functions and gatherings. The history-soaked interiors, dotted with miniature paintings, portraits, royal artefacts and the armoury of the Mewar dynasty transport you to legendary times.  Today, you can Plan holidays, conferences, meetings or celebratory events here.

City Palace Museum - Construction on the City Palace started in 1559, making it the oldest part of the City Palace Complex. In 1969, the City Palace was opened to the public as the City Palace Museum. This was done out of necessity, in order to generate income and maintain the building after India became a democracy, and royal rulers had to give up their states and fend for themselves.

Ranakpur - Ninety kilometres north of Udaipur, Ranakpur is another incredible feat of Jain devotion. Carved from milk-white marble, the complicated series of 29 halls, supported by a forest of 1444 pillars (no two alike), is the finest in Rajasthan, and one the most important in India. It is considered to be one of the five holiest places of the Jainas.

Eklingji Temples - Eklingji Temple is positioned at a distance of 22 km in the north of Udaipur. The double-storied temple looks awesome with its pyramidal style of roof and distinctly carved tower. The outer walls of the temple are stretched with steps that descend touching the serene waters.

Kumbalgharh – It is situated at the distance of 82 Kilometers from Udaipur and is easily accessible through road. The fort of Kumbhalgarh has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres. There are over 360 temples within the fort, 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu.
