Brief Description
Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi
Arrival in New Delhi. Delhi is the main gateway for travelers. Assistance upon arrival and transferred to Hotel. Overnight stay in New Delhi.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing
In the morning, proceed for sightseeing.Take a Rickshaw Ride through the old city. Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes Rajghat and Masjid, the great mosque of old Delhi. Also visit the famous Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar. Later drive through the embassy area in New Delhi where we visit the India Gate and see some impressive Government Buildings. Overnight stay in New Delhi.
Day 03: New Delhi - Jaipur (250 km, 5-6 Hours Approx)
Drive to Jaipur and check in the hotel. Arrive Jaipur in late afternoon. This city owes its name, foundations and careful planning to the great warrior and astronomer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 04: Full day Sightseeing
Start the sightseeing with visit to Amber Fort. Amber was the ancient capital. Enroute to Amber visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen. In the afternoon visit the City Palace. Continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory. In the evening drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white marble. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Pushkar (150 km, 3 Hours Approx)
After leisurely breakfast, drive to Pushkar. Upon arrival check into the Hotel. In the evening, visit holy lake and famous Brahma temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Pushkar – Jodhpur (220 kms/4 hrs approx)
After morning breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. Reach Jodhpur and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon visit the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight stay in Jodhpur
Day 07: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (300 kms/5 hrs apprx)
Drive to Jaisalmer, rest of the day free for independent activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Jaisalmer
In the morning, proceed for sightseeing.. Visit the Fort, bazzars and the old mansions known as "havelis". People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Evening visit Sand dunes and enjoy camel ride at sand dunes. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 09: Jaislamer – Bikaner (350 kms/6 hrs approx)
Drive to Bikaner. Afternoon tour of this city. Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 10: Bikaner – Mandawa (200 kms/4 hrs approx)
Drive to Mandawa. Visit the famous Shekhavati villages, full of beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions. This entire area is like an open air gallery. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 11: Mandawa – Delhi (250 kms/6 hrs approx)
